Contact us

PantryFinder is community-maintained, and we depend on visitors to flag listings that are wrong, missing, or out of date. We read every message and respond to most within a few days.

Common reasons to write

  • Report a closed or moved pantry. Tell us the listing name and city, and we'll remove or update it.
  • Suggest a missing pantry. Send the pantry's name, address, phone, and (if possible) hours. We'll verify and add it.
  • Claim a listing you operate. If you run a pantry or food bank and want to update your listing, let us know — we'll send a quick verification email.
  • Press & partnerships. Reporters and nonprofit partners are welcome.

Email us at hello@pantryfinder.example. Please include the city and state of the listing in question — there are several pantries with the same name across the country, and details help us route corrections faster.

What we cannot do

PantryFinder is not a pantry itself, and our small team cannot deliver food, schedule appointments, or confirm your eligibility for SNAP, WIC, or any other government program. For urgent help getting food today, dial 2-1-1 from any U.S. phone — the United Way helpline is staffed 24/7 in over 180 languages and can connect you with local food assistance, shelter, and crisis resources in real time.

For SNAP applications, contact your state's Department of Human Services. For WIC, contact your state or local health department. Pantry staff can usually help you start either application on a tablet during a regular pantry visit.
